Announcing the release of Richard's long-awaited blues album 'Bluestones'. 'Bluestones' features Richard's song writing, his virtuoso electric and acoustic blues guitar playing, along with his acoustic slide guitar work.

Richard has also completed two other albums 'London Life' and 'Lost and Found'. The origin of these two works is a demo session originally paid for by Pete Townshend, Eel Pie Publishing Company and recorded at Spaceward Studios in Cambridge.

Both albums feature songs about London, 'Lost and Found' is a musical journey starting in London and ending in Ely in Cambridgeshire. The last two tracks 'Fenlight' and 'Etheldreda' were inspired by the poetry of Clare Crossman with whom Richard collaborated on a project called 'Fenlight' which has its own website. Richard's Current Project
Richard's current project is a CD called 'Love Songs' which features the singing of international photographer Fran May, with the music, songs and lead guitar playing of Richard Newman. The CD should be available by the end of 2008.
